What We Do
Photo restoration in Modesto, CA.
Old family photos fade, tear, yellow, and take on water damage over the years. We restore old photos by hand — repairing damage, correcting color, sharpening detail, and returning the picture to how it was meant to be seen. Whether it's a great-grandparent's wedding portrait or a childhood snapshot, we handle each photograph with the same care we give a family piano. If you've been searching for photo restoration near you in Modesto, Turlock, Ceres, or Stockton, this is the same Central Valley family shop that has been restoring heirlooms since 1991.

What we can bring back
Most of what comes to us is one of a kind: a wedding portrait from the 1940s with a torn corner, a black-and-white snapshot that has gone brown, a color print from the 1970s that has faded to pink, a photo that survived a flood or a house fire with staining across a face. We rebuild missing edges, remove creases and spotting, repair tears, correct color casts, and recover contrast and detail that time has flattened.
We also convert prints, slides, and album pages to clean digital files so the family has a copy that cannot fade again — and so it can be shared with everyone who wants one.
Photo restoration FAQ
- Can you restore old photos that are torn, faded, or water damaged?
- Yes. Torn corners, creases, water stains, mold spotting, fading, and yellowing are the most common things we repair. If the detail still exists anywhere in the print, we can usually bring it back — and if a photo is too far gone to save honestly, we will tell you before you spend anything.
- Do I have to mail my original photograph?
- No. You can email a scan, bring the original to our Modesto shop, or hand it to us with a piece we are already picking up. Originals are always returned to you.
- How much does photo restoration cost?
- It depends on the damage. A faded photo that just needs color and contrast work is a small job; a torn portrait that needs a face rebuilt takes far longer. Send us a picture of the picture and we will quote it straight — call (209) 524-6349.
- What do I get back?
- A restored high-resolution digital file you can share, reprint, or archive, plus a fresh printed copy ready to frame if you want one.
- Do you offer photo restoration near Modesto, Turlock, Ceres, and Stockton?
- Yes. Our shop is in Modesto and we work with families throughout the Central Valley — Turlock, Ceres, Stockton, Riverbank, Oakdale, Manteca, and the surrounding towns. Photos can also be emailed to us from anywhere.
